The Insights tab gives you a fast commercial overview of your flight sales event performance.
What you see
The Insights dashboard shows key metrics for the selected event:
- Tickets sold — the total number of confirmed ticket bookings
- Total revenue — the total monetary value of all ticket sales
- Split per aircraft type — how tickets and revenue are distributed across different aircraft types used in the event
- Total tickets — the overall ticket count including all statuses
- Total turnover — the cumulative financial turnover for the event
When to use Insights
Use the Insights tab to answer questions like:
- Is the event selling well or do we need to promote it more?
- Which aircraft types are most popular with customers?
- Are we on track to fill our available capacity?
- What is the expected revenue for this event?
Common tasks
Check event performance before the event date
- Open
Flight Sales - Select the event
- Go to the
Insightstab - Review tickets sold versus total available capacity
- If sales are low, consider additional promotion or adjusting the event
Compare aircraft type popularity
- Open the Insights tab for your event
- Review the per-aircraft-type breakdown
- Use this information to plan future events — allocate more capacity to popular types
Get a revenue summary for reporting
- Open the Insights tab
- Note the total revenue and turnover figures
- Use these numbers for financial reporting or event evaluation
Good practice
- Check Insights regularly in the days leading up to an event to gauge demand
- Use the per-aircraft-type split to inform capacity decisions for future events
- Combine Insights data with the Tickets tab for a complete operational picture on event day
