Finance → Instructor statements summarises all flight instruction (FI) and briefing (BR) lines per flight instructor for a chosen period: time, amounts and line count, with a PDF statement per instructor. It is the basis for settling with instructors who invoice your organisation for their instruction hours.
Sale and purchase rates
Each flight instructor has two rates on the FI tab of their relation:

| Instructor Rate (purchase) | What the instructor may invoice to the organisation. Never charged to students. |
Both rates are captured per registered line at the moment of registration, so historic statements keep their original rates when you change a rate later. Lines registered before the purchase rate existed are calculated with the instructor's current purchase rate and marked with an asterisk on the statement.
The statement
The overview shows, per instructor: FI time and amount, briefing time and amount, Total (sale) and Total (purchase). The PDF statement adds the full line detail — per line the date, type, student, reference, time, rate and amount on both the sale and the purchase side — plus a summary with VAT on the sale side.
Note
the purchase amounts are shown excluding VAT context: which VAT regime the instructor applies on their invoice to the organisation depends on their own status.
Monthly automatic mailing
In Config → Settings → e-Mail notifications → Monthly instructor statement reports you can activate the automatic mailing: on the first day of each month, every instructor with registered lines receives their personal statement PDF of the past month by e-mail.
A second option, Include sales amounts, controls the content of the mailed PDF: when disabled, the mailed statement only shows the purchase side (what the instructor invoices to the organisation) and omits the rates charged to students. The statement report inside the Finance module always shows both sides.
