Aircraft overview

Understand the aircraft list, list filters, status indicators, and the overall structure of the aircraft detail screen.

Last updated 2026-03-27

The Fleet module opens on the aircraft list. This list is the main entry point for working with individual aircraft records.

Working from the aircraft list

The list supports two fast filters:

  • a free-text search across registration, type, name, and manufacturer
  • an A/C Type filter

The grid itself shows:

  • registration
  • ICAO type
  • manufacturer
  • model
  • airworthiness label
  • current Hobbs
  • next maintenance

Visual indicators in the list

  • a star marker indicates a rental aircraft
  • a share marker indicates an insourced aircraft
  • current Hobbs and next maintenance can show warning styling when attention is required

Adding a new aircraft

Use Add aircraft from the Fleet subnavigation. Once the aircraft exists, the rest of the work happens inside the aircraft detail screen.

Aircraft detail structure

Each aircraft opens into a tabbed record with:

  • Flightlog
  • Defects
  • Maintenance
  • Schedule block
  • Documents
  • Configuration
  • Rental
  • Owners

Saving changes

The detail screen enables the save button as soon as fields change. Some switches and select fields also submit immediately, so it is worth checking the record state after changing critical settings.

  1. Configuration
  2. Flight log
  3. Defects
  4. Rental
