How the app connects to the platform

Actions in the Pilot App create data that appears on the Aerolync Platform:

  • Flight logging creates entries in Flights (live status), Flight Register (movement register), and Fleet (aircraft flight log and Hobbs)
  • Bookings appear on the Schedule day scheduler
  • Defect reports appear in the aircraft's Defects tab
  • Profile changes (personal data, licences) appear in the Relations record
  • Payments create transactions in Finance
  • Access control triggers are logged in the Access Log

Getting started

  1. Receive an invitation from your organisation's administrator
  2. Create your account and sign in
  3. Explore the Home screen to understand the operational dashboard
  4. Learn the flight logger before your first flight
  5. Set up your profile with your personal data and licences

Good practice

Important

Allow location access when prompted -- many features (flight logging, access control, airfield detection) depend on knowing your proximity to the airfield.
