Welcome to the official Aerolync documentation. This guide covers everything you need to know about working with the Aerolync Platform (the web-based management system) and the Aerolync Pilot App (the mobile app for pilots and operational users).

Who this documentation is for

Aerolync serves several types of users. The documentation is written so that each role can find the information most relevant to them.

  • Administrators manage the organisation, configure modules, handle finance, and oversee operations. Most platform documentation is written with admins in mind.
  • Flight instructors work with the schedule, flight training, standardization, and grading systems. They also use the Pilot App for flight logging and bookings.
  • Pilots and other users primarily use the Pilot App for day-to-day operations such as flight logging, booking, document access, and profile management. The Pilot App section is written for this audience.
  • Operations staff monitor flights, manage the flight register, and handle aerodrome operations.
  • Finance staff work with transactions, invoicing, balances, and payment reconciliation.

How to find what you need

If you know the module or feature name, use the left-hand navigation. Documentation is organised by module, with each module having an overview page and detailed sub-pages.

If you are looking for a specific feature, use the search function. Try terms like defects, flight logger, schedule, wallet, booking, or invoice.

If you are new to Aerolync, start with the recommended reading paths below.

  • Steps are numbered when order matters
  • Each page includes a Good practice section with operational tips
