Before you can use the Aerolync Pilot App, you need an Aerolync account linked to your organisation. This page explains how to sign in, create your account, and recover access.
Signing in
Sign in with email and password
- Open the Aerolync Pilot App
- Enter your email address
- Enter your password
- Tap
Sign in
After signing in, the app opens on the Home screen.
Sign in with QR code
If your organisation supports QR code authentication:
- Open the Aerolync Pilot App
- Select the QR login option
- Scan the QR code displayed on the platform or kiosk device
- The app authenticates and opens automatically
QR authentication is useful for quick sign-in at shared devices or kiosk stations.
Creating a new account
Your organisation's administrator sends you an invitation. To complete the setup:
- Open the invitation link from the email
- Fill in the required account details
- Set your password
- Accept the terms and complete the onboarding
- The app opens and you can start using it
If you did not receive an invitation, contact your organisation's administrator. They can send a new invitation from the Relations account tab.
Resetting your password
If you forgot your password:
- On the sign-in screen, tap
Forgot password - Enter the email address linked to your account
- Check your email for the reset link
- Follow the link to set a new password
- Return to the app and sign in with your new password
If you do not receive the reset email, check your spam folder. If the problem persists, contact your organisation's administrator.
Session and account management
- The app keeps you signed in between sessions. You do not need to sign in every time you open the app.
- To sign out, go to Profile and use the logout option under
Aerolync account. - If you are part of multiple organisations, you can switch between them from the Profile screen.
After signing in
- The app opens on the Home screen by default
- If you are returning from a payment process, the app may open directly in the Finance section
- On first use, the app may ask for location permissions — allow this for features like airfield detection and flight logging
Troubleshooting
Cannot sign in — Verify your email address and password. If you recently changed your password on the platform, use the new password. Try resetting your password if unsure.
Account not found — Your organisation's administrator needs to create a relation record and send you an invitation first. Contact your admin.
QR code not working — Make sure your camera has permission to scan. Ensure the QR code is current and not expired.
App shows an error after sign-in — Check your internet connection. The app requires an active connection to load your data.
Good practice
- Use a strong, unique password for your Aerolync account
- Do not share your login credentials with others
- Complete account creation as soon as you receive an invitation
- Reset your password instead of creating duplicate accounts
- If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, change your password immediately and notify your administrator
