Search the shared contact directory, view contact details, call or email contacts, and manage your contact sharing preferences.

The Contacts screen provides access to a shared directory of people in your organisation. You can search for users, view their details, and contact them directly.

Contact directory

The Contacts screen shows a searchable list of people who have shared their contact information. Not everyone in the organisation may be visible — contact sharing depends on each person's privacy preferences.

Searching for a contact

  1. Open the Contacts screen
  2. Use the search bar at the top
  3. Type a name or other identifying information
  4. The list filters as you type
  5. Tap a contact to view their details

Contact details

When you open a contact, you can see:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address

Calling or emailing a contact

From the contact detail view:

  • Tap the phone number to initiate a call directly from your device
  • Tap the email address to open your email app with a new message to that person

Contact sharing and privacy

Contact visibility in the directory depends on sharing preferences. Each user controls whether their own contact information is visible to others.

When you open Contacts for the first time, the app asks whether you want to share your own contact details with other users. Once you enable sharing, the full contact directory becomes available to you as well.

Managing your sharing preference

  1. Go to Profile
  2. Open Preferences
  3. Find the contact sharing setting
  4. Enable sharing if you want other users to find you in the Contacts directory
  5. Disable sharing if you prefer to keep your contact details private

When sharing is disabled, other users will not see your contact information in the directory.

Common tasks

Find a fellow pilot's phone number

  1. Open Contacts
  2. Search for the pilot by name
  3. Tap the contact to see their phone number
  4. Tap the number to call them

Check who is available to share a flight

  1. Open Contacts
  2. Browse or search for people you know
  3. Contact them by phone or email to coordinate

Good practice

  • Enable contact sharing if your organisation expects pilots to reach each other through the app
  • Keep your own contact information up to date in your Profile so others can reach you
  • Use the search function to find people quickly instead of scrolling through long lists
